YouTube Starts Counting Views From the First Frame

From August 24, YouTube counts a view the moment a video, Short or livestream starts playing, replacing the roughly 30-second threshold used for long-form content. The old measure survives in Analytics as 'Engaged Views,' and monetization rules are unchanged.
