UK Competition Regulator Clears $110 Billion Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery Merger
The UK Competition and Markets Authority cleared Paramount Skydance's $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery on competition grounds, following earlier clearances from the US Department of Justice and the European Commission. UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy is still conducting a separate public-interest review, and the deal cannot close before a 12-state US antitrust trial set for March 2027.
