ITV Posts Solid H1 Results as Sky's Acquisition of Its M&E Division Enters CMA Review
ITV reported group revenue up 2% to £1.9 billion for H1 2026, with digital advertising up 13% on 27% growth in ITVX viewing, even as ITV Studios' adjusted EBITA fell 9%. The company confirmed its £100 million share buyback and said Sky's proposed acquisition of its Media & Entertainment division has entered a Competition and Markets Authority review, pushing completion to H2 2027 if the deal proceeds to a Phase 2 investigation.
