InterDigital Wins Third UPC Injunction Against Disney, Covering Germany and the Netherlands

The Unified Patent Court’s Düsseldorf division ruled Disney infringes an InterDigital patent on seamless video handoff between devices, granting a third injunction, this one covering Germany and the Netherlands; Disney can appeal. The ruling extends InterDigital’s licensing campaign against Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu spanning the US, Brazil and multiple UPC divisions.
