Germany's First Convergent Ratings Put RTL+ Well Ahead of Joyn on Viewing Volume
Audience-measurement body AGF published Germany's first convergent TV and streaming ratings with monthly platform usage volumes: in July, Prime Video led with 124.2 million streamed hours ahead of ARD Mediathek (104.3 million) and ZDF (96.1 million), while RTL+ posted 55.6 million hours against Joyn's 38.8 million — though Joyn's free model gives it higher net reach at 10.6 million versus 9.4 million. In the 14-49 demo RTL+ ranks second only to Amazon, and flagship soap GZSZ now reaches more young viewers on RTL+ than on linear RTL.
