Dutch Competition Regulator Opens Formal Review of Videoland's €142 Million Viaplay Takeover

The Dutch competition authority ACM has published the concentration notification for Videoland's planned €142 million acquisition of Viaplay Netherlands, giving third parties until 3 September to respond before a nominal four-week ruling period begins. The deal would fold Viaplay's Dutch premium sports portfolio — Formula 1 rights to 2029, Premier League and FA Cup to 2028, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 to 2029, and PDC darts to 2032 — into Videoland.
